Major Assinations of The 1960s
The 1960s began with relative peace in the United States and traditional home and family values. The decade ended with much change in these views and values. One of the major reasons for this change was the impact of four really significant assassinations in our country. President John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Jr, Robert F. Kennedy, and Malcolm X were all killed during the 1960s. These deaths changed history and forever shook the feeling of safety and innocence of the American people.
